Welcome to Castlecroft Medical Practice
The doctors and staff at Castlecroft Medical Practice in Castlecroft are proud to offer the highest standard of patient-centred healthcare in a modern purpose built healthcentre.
We run many clinics for the management of chronic diseases such as asthma and diabetes and offer a wide variety of other medical services including antenatal and postnatal care, minor surgery, childhood vaccinations and well-person check-ups.
In addition to everything you need to know about the practice you will also find a wealth of health-related information in the menu on the right hand side. Please have a look around and do send us some feedback if you like.
All patients aged 75 and above have an allocated NAMED GP. This has always been the case at Castlecroft however NHS England have recently advised all practices to do the same. Your named GP is the one whose name appears on your repeat prescriptions. If you would like confirmation please ask at reception.
SMS Text Message Service
Castlecroft is now able to send patients text message reminders of their appointments. This service may also be used in the future for sending other patient information (with your consent) such as test results and reminders to make appointments for annual health checks & reviews.
Please ensure we have an up to date mobile number if you wish to benefit from this FREE service.
Every month over 250 GP & Nurse appointments are missed by patients when they do not attend (DNA) without ringing to cancel or re-book. This is a huge waste of time and money that also makes it more difficult for other patients to book. The number is slowly falling however is still far too high
PLEASE RING TO CANCEL IF YOU CANNOT ATTEND - THANK YOU
